Your serial number is provided below Serial Number : AMVVL2K9FDJ4P7 METHOD 2 To restore from Value.dat file: 1) Locate the backup Value.dat file on your system 2) Copy Value.dat to the clipboard 3) Paste it into the program registration data folder 4) Launch CuteFTP, it should now be registered The program registration data folder on this computer is: C:\ProgramData\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP 8 Professional On Windows XP the folder is usually: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP 8 Lite On Windows Vista the folder is usually: C:\ProgramData\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP 8 Lite METHOD 3 To restore from key.reg back-up file (system administrator only): 1) Locate key.reg on your system 2) Double-click on key.reg 3) Select Yes when prompted 4) Launch CuteFTP, it should now be registered If registration fails using the serial number provided, verify that the version installed is the same as purchased version. ======================================================================== Restoring The Site Manager ======================================================================== To restore Site Manager (which includes bookmarks and custom commands): 1) Locate the backup version of sm.dat (and optionally commands.dat for custom commands) 2) Copy sm.dat (and commands.dat) to the clipboard 3) Paste them into the program installation folder, overwriting the default sm.dat (and commands.dat) file provided by the installation 4) When the application loads for the first time, it will use it If you have already run the program once, paste these files into the application data folder: Windows NT users: [WINDIR]\Profiles\[username]\Application Data\GlobalSCAPE\[productname]\[versionnumber] -or- Windows 2000/XP users Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\GlobalSCAPE\[productname]\[versionnumber] If further instructions are needed, please visit our support page at: http://www.globalscape.com/support.
